Community Pharmacy Wales represents the 700 plus pharmacy owners in Wales on NHS matters. Our main objective is to secure the best possible NHS service opportunities, remuneration and terms. We are the body responsible for liaising with the Department of Health and for negotiating the contractual terms for the provision of the NHS community pharmacy services.

Welsh Government Chief Medical Officer warns of health risks by people failing to immunise, 06 May 2019  The Chief Medical Officer for Wales Dr Frank Atherton has warned of the health threats facing Wales from the rise in anti-vaccination campaigns and antibiotic overuse.   In his annual report published today (7 May) the CMO highlights the importance of vaccinations and the risks to those who are not vaccinated against preventable diseases.
