Almost 150 people vaccinated by pharmacists at the National Assembly

 

On Monday 2nd October Community Pharmacy Wales facilitated a mass vaccination against influenza at the National Assembly for Wales It was a highly successful event with almost 150 people getting vaccinated. Amongst the 16 Assembly Members who were vaccinated were First Minister Carwyn Jones and Health Secretary Vaughan Gething. The event was sponsored by Ann Jones AM, the Deputy Presiding Officer of the Assembly and a long term champion of vaccination, who is leading the way in explaining to her constituents how most community pharmacies now routinely dispense flu vaccines.
