The new Shadow Minister for Health and Social Services, Andrew RT Davies MS visited Pearn’s Pharmacy in Windsor Road, Penarth as one of his first engagements in post on Friday 24 July 2020. The visit, hosted by Community Pharmacy Wales, the representative body for the sector, focused on the challenges faced by community pharmacists during the Covid period.

Jack Sargeant, Labour Assembly Member for Alyn and Deeside, visited Castle Pharmacy in Caegwrle, Flintshire on Thursday 2nd May to see first hand how the local community pharmacy was delivering a new service.
Llanelli’s MP Nia Griffith was treated to a display of robot technology on a visit to Evans Chemist at Ty Elli Surgery last Friday (7th June).

Helen Mary Jones AM visited the P Griffiths Pharmacy in Pontyates on 22nd November meet with pharmacist, Penny Knowles and CPW Assoicate Director of Contractor Engagement, Kayleigh Williams, to discuss the benefits that community pharmacy services bring to the local community. They also discussed the fanastic work being done by pharmacies to support their patients and local GP practices.
